It’s been 49 years since development work first began on AutoCAD. Since then, computing has been transformed by the internet, the cloud, real-time collaboration, mobile devices, and now AI. Yet the software architects rely on every day still carries assumptions made decades ago. We think it’s time to start fresh. Corvus is our attempt to rethink professional design software from first principles, and to build the next generation of tools for architects.

Who We Are

Hi! I'm Munawar Ahmed, co-founder and CEO of Corvus Labs. I'm a systems designer, and I've spent 26 years designing super complex software systems that quietly run the world. And I'm Matthew Schnepf, co-founder and Chief Design Officer. I'm an architect, and I've spent 26 years working across residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

What's The Problem

In the world of architecture, engineering, and construction, people are still using software today that was developed in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. It’s cumbersome, convoluted, slow, heavy, fragmented, expensive, and breaks all the time. It feels like you're fighting your way through a labyrinth, every day.

What We're Building

We are creating architecture software from the ground up, taking a fundamentally different approach to how these professionals draw, model, communicate, collaborate, and can use AI in a meaningful way. It’s built for how real people get real work done.

What We've Proven
