Engineering Team
We are building a small, world-class team to rethink the foundations of professional design software. Corvus is design-led: design is not a layer applied after the engineering is done, but a core discipline that shapes what we build, how it works, and the decisions we make along the way. We are looking for exceptional people across computational geometry, graphics, parametric modeling, distributed systems, databases, BIM, AI, product design, and other disciplines who care deeply about the quality of the whole product, not just their part of it. We intend to stay lean, give talented people meaningful ownership, and operate with technical rigor, clear thinking, direct communication, and very little bureaucracy. We will use the best available tools and practices, automate what should be automated, and avoid unnecessary process, hierarchy, and organizational overhead. The goal is not to build a large team. It is to assemble the right team to build an exceptional product.
Infrastructure & Security
We are looking for an infrastructure and security expert to design the systems on which Corvus is built, deployed, operated, and trusted. This person will bring deep experience with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, CI/CD, observability, identity, security, and production operations, with an emphasis on automation over manual processes. The goal is to make Corvus secure, resilient, scalable, and economical to operate by design, with security and reliability built into the architecture from the beginning rather than added later.
Geometry Kernel
We are looking for a world-class geometry kernel expert to lead the design of Corvus’s foundational modeling engine. This person should have deep experience shipping production geometric modeling systems and understand the realities of robust curve, surface, solid, topology, intersection, boolean, offset, fillet, tessellation, tolerance, and healing operations at professional CAD scale. We are especially interested in engineers who have worked on kernels, CAD systems, computational geometry engines, or adjacent modeling infrastructure where numerical robustness and pathological edge cases matter as much as algorithmic elegance. This role will establish the mathematical and architectural foundations on which 2D drawing, 3D modeling, BIM, sectioning, rendering, and downstream computational workflows will depend.
Constraint & Parametric Systems
We are looking for a constraint and parametric systems expert to define how geometric relationships, dimensions, dependencies, and model history behave throughout Corvus. This person should have deep experience with geometric constraint solving, dependency graphs, incremental regeneration, feature histories, direct modeling, and the difficult interactions between parametric intent and user-driven editing. The role will be responsible for designing systems that can preserve design intent while remaining fast, predictable, debuggable, and resilient as projects become large and highly interconnected. The ideal candidate has shipped parametric CAD, engineering, design-automation, or solver-driven software and understands both the mathematics of constraints and the product consequences of regeneration architecture.
Project Model & Database
We are looking for a project-model and database expert to design the persistent computational representation at the heart of Corvus. This person will define how objects maintain identity over time, how geometry and semantic information are associated, how relationships and dependencies are represented, how transactions and history are recorded, and how changes propagate incrementally through a large project. The architecture must ultimately support 2D, 3D, BIM, worksheets, collaboration, temporal project states, provenance, automation, and AI without fragmenting the project into disconnected data models. We are looking for someone with deep experience in databases, persistent object systems, transactional architectures, graph-like data models, event or temporal systems, and high-performance incremental computation.
Graphics & CAD Interaction
We are looking for a graphics and CAD interaction expert to lead the visual and interactive foundations of Corvus. This person must understand both high-performance real-time graphics and the unusually demanding interaction model of professional design software: precise selection, snapping, picking, manipulators, working planes, large-model navigation, sectioning, overlays, line rendering, high-frequency mouse and keyboard input, and immediate visual feedback. The role will shape the rendering architecture as well as the systems that make drawing and modeling feel precise, fluid, and trustworthy under sustained professional use. The ideal candidate has shipped sophisticated CAD, 3D, graphics, DCC, game-engine, mapping, or technical visualization software and understands that interaction latency and geometric precision are product features, not implementation details.
Distributed Collaboration
We are looking for a distributed collaboration expert to design Corvus as a genuinely multi-user computational system from the beginning. This person will define how semantic modeling operations are represented, synchronized, ordered, replayed, merged, and audited across users and devices while supporting latency, disconnection, partial state, concurrent editing, and long-lived project history. The role requires deep knowledge of distributed systems, replication, conflict resolution, consistency models, transactional semantics, CRDT/OT-style approaches where appropriate, offline synchronization, and versioned state. Most importantly, this person will work with the project-model, geometry, and command-system teams early enough that collaboration is an architectural property of Corvus rather than a synchronization layer added after the application has already been built.
